The job on your phone, without an app
Dispatch assigns you the job. Your phone buzzes. You tap the link and everything you need is there.
For tow truck drivers
Overview
Drivers do not want another app with another password. So there is not one. When dispatch hands you a job you get a text with a link, and the link is the job: who the customer is, what they are driving, where they are, where it is going, and what was quoted. Big buttons, built for a gloved thumb in the rain.
You also get one standing link for your truck that lists every job on it. Save it to the home screen and it is your day.
What you get
A text, not an install
Each job arrives as a link. It works on any phone, needs no account, and stops working after a week, when the job is handed to someone else, or when dispatch switches it off.
One tap to navigate
The pickup and the destination open in the phone's maps app. If the customer shared their exact position from their own page, you navigate to the pin, not to a guessed address.
Got it, on the way, arrived, done, not here
Five buttons. "Got it" tells dispatch you have the job; the rest stamp the job and text the customer. You never have to call the office to say where you are.
Your position, shared while it matters
The page shares the truck's position while a job is active, so the customer watches you come and dispatch can see the fleet. It stops when the job ends and you can stop it yourself.
Photos on the job
Pickup, damage, drop-off. Taken from the page, filed on the job, visible to the office. The record that ends the argument later.
What the customer said
"I am in the blue car by the gate." Messages the customer sends from their page show up on yours, highlighted, and with texting on they reach your phone too.
Call the customer, call dispatch
The customer's number is a button, because calling from the roadside is the point. Dispatch is one tap away as well.
Everything on your truck
Your unit's standing link lists every open job assigned to you, oldest first, each opening its own page. Dispatch can switch it off in a second if the phone changes hands.
A job, from the driver's seat
- 1
Buzz
Dispatch assigns you. You get a text with the job link and tap "Got it" so the office knows you have it.
- 2
Go
Tap "On the way". Navigation opens. The customer sees your truck coming and gets a text saying so.
- 3
Done
Tap "Arrived", then "Done". Add photos. The customer gets the receipt and the rating request; you get the next job.
What it does not do
- Position sharing only runs while the job page is open on an active job and the company has it switched on. It is not a tracker on the driver's day.
- The job link never shows the office's internal notes, other drivers' jobs, or anything about the company's money beyond the quote for this job.
